I always need new challenges in my life, otherwise i get bored very fast. I think the iGEM competition gives me the opportunity to think out of the box and thereby improve myself in many different Fields.

My primary motivation to be a part of the iGEM Team is to gain an insight into the actual work of a scientist. From finding the funds, time management to the actual lab work, everything is just a big adventure which I am very happy to be a part of.

I think the Idea of OpenSource Methods for Synthetic Biology are very interesting and I am very proud that I am a Part of this Idea. This opens up new method of collaborative thinking and methods.

I really enjoy learning new things but it is even better to apply that new knowledge to real life problems and the iGEM competition is an amazing opportunity to do that.

Getting the chance to invest your time and energy into an own idea and then having a stage like a competition to present your results is a great opportunity made possible by iGEM. I am very thankful to get the chance to be part of this adventure.

Participating in the iGEM competition, gives us the opportunity to transform our school desk knowledge of synthetic biology into an actual practical application in this field. This is a great motivation to form a group, discuss ideas, trying out things and everything which belongs to it!

I think only together we can improve science. That’s the reason I joined iGEM competition to work with a group of scientists to contribute something to the open access idea. I’m very excited about having some nice and productive months with our team.

I am glad to participate at iGEM and wirk within a group of like-minded people. Combining acquired knowledge and creativity in order to reach the best outcome is what we are striving for. iGEM is a great possibility to immerse in all aspects of a scientific project and contribute to a life-changing idea.

There is nothing more exciting for a young scientist like me than seeing their own ideas “come to life”. For me iGEM makes that literally possible for the first time!

My motivation for iGEM is that we can freely choose and develop our own project and work on it as a team. I see it as an opportunity for me to grow in terms of scientific knowledge and but also as a teamplayer.
